Type of repair: To remove immediate danger to people and avoid damage to the property. To make the property secure e.g. burst pipes/tank, gas leaks. Target Time: To be completed or made safe within 24 hours.
Type of repair: This work needs to be done quickly to prevent immediate damage to the property or to overcome serious inconvenience e. g. water leaks, loss of heating & hot water, electrical works that could be a danger (reduced lighting, making good after emergency works).
Target Time: Maximum time 7 working days.
Type of repair: These are works that need doing quickly but there is no immediate inconvenience or danger. e.g. repairs to electrical points, WCs, sinks, defective gutters.
Target Time: Maximum 4-6 weeks.
Type of repair: This is work where specifications have to be prepared and estimates for the repair obtained.
Target Time: Maximum time 6 months.
