Partners

We know that Cara cannot work in isolation if we want to make a real difference to the quality of life in our communities. We work with and support various professional, community and voluntary organisations, and we form local partnerships to deliver a range of housing and support services.

We work closely with the other Irish housing associations across England sharing information on our services and the specific needs of the Irish community.

Current examples of achievement through partnership:

  • Cara is a member of the Spectrum development consortium in the Midlands. This has resulted in our first shared-ownership scheme in the Irish quarter in Birmingham.
  • Working in partnership with a local provider, Irish in Greenwich, we have extended our 'floating support service' into the community. This service supports older Irish people living in local council or private rented accommodation.
  • In the Midlands, we buy in Family Housing Association and Leicester Housing Association's repairs services to ensure a responsive and cost effective repairs service for our tenants.

If you wish to discuss our approach to partnerships and alliances, please contact our Chief Executive on 020 8800 2744 or click here.
