Day centre for older people

We run a popular day centre for older Irish people in north London. The centre is open Monday to Friday and provides an Irish setting to help you make friends and feel better in mind and body.

We've been improving our day centre facilities, which include:

• a relaxing lounge area to meet friends, play a range of games from bingo to cards or catch up on your favourite DVD
• a home-cooked two-course lunch available each day, adapted to individual needs and cultural tastes
• a luncheon club from 12.30 to 2pm each day
• daily activities such as history and reminiscing, armchair exercises, arts and crafts, advice and information and visits from a hairdresser
• monthly tea dances held in the local Irish Centre, which are also open to the wider community.
